June 2023: Approval to record activity in individual neurons in humans

We have received the long-awaited approval to commence a clinical trial that involves the recording of single neurons in humans. This trial aims to assess the clinical benefits of utilizing tetrodes in the evaluation of patients with epilepsy. Moreover, we have been granted the opportunity to conduct concurrent cognitive experiments alongside the clinical study, with a provision to include a total of 80 patients until 2035.
